What is VerbBoard?
A focused tool for learning verbs. Languages: English, Spanish, French, Hebrew, Italian, Russian.
Each verb shows full conjugation with TTS audio for every form and example sentence.
How it works
Pick a language on the home page. The Verb of the Day is one tap away. Open any verb and play audio for every form and example. Pronouns for each person are in a collapsible block. Switch between female and male voices. When your interface language differs from the verb's language, examples get a translation button. Mark verbs you learned with ★. Export them for Anki from the Verbs page.
Practice
Sign in, then start a session on the Verbs page. Choose 3, 6 or 9 verbs and how many times to listen to the audio for each. Move on after listening. Finish a session to earn a badge. Verbs you marked known come back at 1, 3, 7, 16 and 35 days, with a "Recalled it" button when they resurface. Verbs you are still learning keep returning too. It happens on its own.
Accounts and practice
Browsing needs no account. Practice does: a free Google sign-in saves your progress across devices. On Android it is one tap. Verbs and badges you collected before signing in are kept. You can delete your account and data yourself on the privacy page.
Search
Your studied language is selected by default. Or select English and type a verb in English to cross-search in your studied language.
Missing verbs are usually generated automatically within seconds. If a language doesn't support that yet, missing searches are tracked and covered in future updates.
Install
On the home page, tap Install to add VerbBoard to your home screen.
